Alastair Reid show true professionalism

My first experience of your professionalism dealt with an ABS problem which confounded all those who had tried in vain! A quick analysis revealed a secondary battery was at fault. There was no indication whatsoever that there was such a thing, anywhere in the car! But the analysis was correct, and the elusive battery was revealed, concealed under the air conditioning unit. The second experience was more complex. An electrical system fault required a replacement gear selection unit. This was quickly obtained and fitted and all was well until a simple plastic link connector suddenly failed with my dilemma of being marooned, immobile, miles from help. Not a problem at ARG! 2 mobile phone calls resulted in a flat bed pickup truck summoned, appearing 45 mins later and my sick car conveyed to the ARG Perth Sanctuary. The fault was identified and replaced without fuss, even although the ARG team were under huge pressures at the time. There was no charge suggested for any work related to collecting, delivering and repairing the fault.

My conclusion is simply that the Good Garage Scheme is a great idea but in the case of ARG, that does not relate only to matters technical. For Sandy and his team, their whole approach spells care, consideration, expertise and most of all – INTEGRITY!!! I now know where to go without question and it’s a privilege to learn of the existence of true professionalism. Thank you and see you soon
